What is Dollup?

Dollup is a Bahrain based mobile app for scheduling and booking appointments of salons, spa, cosmetics clinics with many users friendly features. Users can book their appointments and receive confirmation instantly.

How do you choose which BEAUTY to list?

All services providers that are listed on Dollup platform are carefully selected by our team to ensure that we offer bests quality service to our users. We are choosing different range of salons that meet individual needs, budget and distance.

How can I get my favorite salon or spa listed?

We love hearing about your favorite salons, or if you’re a salon owner yourself we’d love to speak with you. Drop us a line on app@dollup.net

Can I book on your website?

Currently Dollup appointments can be made via the iOS app available in the App Store or the Android app available in the Google Play Store. Bookings cannot currently be made through the website. If you are unable to book please get in touch on app@dollup.net and we’ll be happy to help out!

When can I book on Dollup?

24 hours a day 7 days a week. No more waiting for salon opening times!.

Is my booking confirmed instantly?

Yes. All Dollup appointments are confirmed instantly. Further confirmation will also be sent via notification to your mobile the Salon directly . You will receive immediate on-screen confirmation of your booking, along with a confirmation containing all appointment and salon details.

Do I need to take anything with me to my appointment?

The salon will have details of your appointment on hand.

Can I make multiple appointments at once?

Yes! When you are making your appointment just tick as many services as you want from the service menu.

Can you recommend a salon or spa for me?

Sure! Just drop us an email on app@dollup.net and one of Dollup team members will be in touch to help you find your perfect salon or spa match.

Can I add services to my appointment?

Absolutely! Just navigate to the ‘My Appointments’ screen by tapping the calendar icon in your app and select ‘Add Services’ to upsize your appointment.

What is your cancellation and no-show policy?

You can cancel or reschedule your appointment by giving at least one hour notice. so please if you need to cancel, do so on the Dollup app.

How do I reschedule or cancel my appointment?

Yes! You can easily reschedule or cancel an appointment in the My Appointments section of the Dollup app – just login, tap the calendar icon at the bottom of the screen, and select the appointment you’d like to change.

Does using Dollup cost anything?

Not a thing! Dollup is a free service for our users, and we’re happy to provide it to you!

How are Dollup Ratings & Reviews different from other websites' user reviews?

Unlike many App, we only let people who have visited the salon and booked through Dollup leave reviews on our App, which means the reviews are always authentic, informative, and from people just like you. We don’t edit or modify submitted reviews. It’s our version of quality assurance and making sure every comment can be trusted!

How can I submit a review for a salon?

Once you’ve booked with Dollup and attended your salon appointment, we will automatically notify you a review request. You can also review an appointment directly from the My Appointments section of your Dollup app.

Does Dollup publish negative ratings and reviews?

Yes. We prefer constructive feedback, but will still publish negative reviews and ratings to ensure the true consumer experience is always reflected.

Why didn't the review I submitted appear on Dollup?

Reviews are checked prior to being uploaded to Dollup to ensure they do not contain offensive language of inappropriate content. Your review might not have appeared yet if it’s still going through this process or we have deemed it unsuitable for publication.

What does Dollup do if a salon receives multiple bad reviews?

Dollup has a commitment to giving our customers a positive experience. If a business falls below our high quality assurance bar we will work with them to improve their performance and then may take steps to remove them from the Dollup community.

How do I sign up or register for more information?

How does Dollup generate bookings for my salon?

Thousands of users search of salon appointments online each week – they might be new to the area or just looking for a change. Dollup aims to be the marketplace where salons go to book their salon appointments. As your marketing partner, we promote you to these thousands of consumers; the end result for you is more confirmed bookings.

How does Dollup help my existing customers?

Dollup would love to help make bookings for your regular and existing clients and customers! Dollup lets you give them new a convenient way to book, and help free up your time to look after them when they’re in the salon.

How does Dollup know what services we offer?

We understand that every salon is different, to help set up Dollup for your salon, a Dollup representative will spend time with you and your team to customize your salon profile and service offering and guide you through the setup process. This includes everything from services offered, price range, staff member details, opening hours etc. Customers will be able to select appointments from the specific services that you offer in the same way as they would by phone.

What happens if a consumer tries to book online and we are full?

If you salon is full at the requested time, Dollup will automatically offer the consumer alternative times and days.

Can we block out certain times or days?

Yes. The Online Appointment Calendar allows you to block out times or days where you don’t want to allow customers to book.

Do we need special equipment to use Dollup?

No. Dollup is a completely mobile system. All you need to participate is a phone or Ipad with an internet connection. If you don’t have those, just let us know and we can easily help provide that for you. You can also access your salon account from home, the office, or anywhere around the world – wherever you have an internet connection!

How do cancellations and changes work?

Consumers will be provided a link in their confirmation notification allowing them cancel or change their appointment online, and the salon will be notified in real-time through the Dollup Online Appointment Calendar and notifications if they have opted into this.

How does Dollup reduce cancellations and no-shows?

Dollup sends automated appointment reminders notification to customers to remind them of their appointment with your salon. Experience in other industries has shown that reminder notifications significantly reduce no-show rates; they also mean that your staff members don’t need to spend their time calling customers to remind them of appointments, Dollup takes care of this for you!

Are there penalties for consumers who cancel or no-show?

Yes. As a salon, you can notify Dollup of no-shows through the Online Appointment Calendar. Dollup’s policy is that if a consumer no-shows at any of our partner salons three times in a consecutive 12 month period that they will no longer be able to make appointments via the Dollup site.

How are Dollup reviews different from other websites?

Dollup only allows consumers who have booked through us and attended an appointment to leave a review. By allowing only real consumers to leave reviews, and leaving these reviews unedited, we ensure our reviews are the most informative and genuine in the market.

What should I do if I receive a negative review?

All businesses will receive negative reviews from time to time… whether on the Dollup App or elsewhere. We suggest the following ways to deal with a negative review:

    • Take the feedback on board. There’s usually some cause to a negative review, and you should view being able to capture this information from your consumers as a great way to improve your service offering and consumer experience.
    • Contact the consumer directly to resolve the differences. You will be able to locate their details on the Online Appointment Calendar or by finding the relevant confirmation notification.
    • Encourage other reviews. Help give other consumers a well rounded view of your salon by reminding other consumers who have booked via Dollup about the opportunity to provide feedback.
    • Dollup filters our reviews for inexplicit and offensive language. Please contact our team if you come across any reviews that have not been correctly identified by our filter.

Dollup has a commitment to giving both our salons and our consumers a positive experience. If your salon consistently receives negative reviews, we will contact you to discuss the reason and try and reach a resolution together. You may also be removed off the Dollup community.

Why are reviews important?

Reviews provide important transparency between your business and your customers – they help customers make informed decisions and paint a more detailed picture of your business. At Dollup we firmly believe in the importance of providing users with reviews so they can compare businesses and services and providing your business with the feedback you need to provide an even better customer experience.

Who has access to my salon account?

Your salon login is password protected and it is completely at your discretion who has access rights.
